Survey actions are used for two purposes. First, an email can be automatically sent to a specified email address when a participant submits survey responses that have a specified answer. For example, if a client indicates he or she is not satisfied, an email can be automatically sent to a customer representative to respond rapidly. The email will include the answers submitted by the customer.
Secondly, a survey action can be used to load a specified URL. This type of action is used to integrate Interceptum with other information management systems. For example, you could setup an action that will add a Task in a Task Tracking Software or in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application. From there, the issue can be monitored and appropriate actions can be taken. When the URL is invoked by Interceptum, the participant's answers are sent to the server in HTML and in XML format for easy parsing.

Interceptum is a fully multilingual platform. You can create surveys and intercepts in a multitude of languages.
You can select the languages of each individual survey and intercept so that you only have to enter the survey or intercept's information in the desired languages. Thus individuals in different geographic regions can create surveys and intercepts only in languages they need.

It is possible to control the skip logic of conditional questions through javascript. The scripts use a simple API to access the participant's answers and control the flow of the questionnaire.
With piping it is possible to display the answer selected by the participant in one question in a subsequent question. For example, if you ask the question "In what city do you live?" and then the question "What do you like most about XYZ?", the XYZ portion of the second question can be replaced with the answer from the first question.

All user actions are logged and can be reviewed via the history of events and changes of surveys, questions, intercepts, and reports. You can tell which user did what action and when he or she did it.
